Cheek and chin augmentation can help bring definition and balance to your face. Not only do they bring harmony to the face and improve contour, they can significantly contribute to facial rejuvenation by restoring volume loss due to the aging process.

Cheek augmentation is most often performed with injectable fillers , such as fat grafting, Restylane®, or Juvederm™. These procedures can be done in the office with local anesthetic, or with other procedures (such as facelift) in the operating room with sedation.

Chin implants are placed through inconspicuous incisions under the chin. Most patients experience no visible scarring and bruising and swelling subsides one to two weeks post-operatively. The procedures are performed under IV sedation and involve only minor discomfort, which is easily controlled by oral medications. Like all surgical procedures, Cheek and Chin Enhancements entail some risk. We encourage all patients to learn as much about the procedures and recovery before undergoing a procedure.
